Event Description
4Him2Day-Children's Cancer Resource Foundation and 104.1 The Fish Welcome Mark Schultz and special guest, Logan Martin.
Fourteen time
Dove Award nominee and platinum selling artist, Mark Schultz, returns to the
Northwest in a benefit concert for 4Him2Day-Children's Cancer Resource
Foundation. Proceeds from the event will benefit local families in treatment
for childhood cancer.
Listeners
have come to expect inspiring and remarkable stories in song from Mark Schultz,
a 14-time Dove Award nominee and platinum-selling artist who touches hearts
whether he sings about parents praying for a sick child ("He's My
Son"), or writes in honor of his great-grandmother's sons who fought in
World War II ("Letters From War").
With his latest effort, "All Things Possible,"
Schultz continues to tackle matters of the heart and spirit with uncommon
craftsmanship--though the past five years have impacted this artist in ways he
could've never predicted or expected. He's lived in Europe, started the
Remember Me Mission with his wife to help orphans (Schultz himself is adopted),
and became a father in 2012 to a boy, Ryan Samuel Schultz.
Joining Mark is Special Guest, Logan Martin. Logan is the Worship and Arts Pastor at Court Street Christian Church in Salem. Logan got a break opening solo for Jeremy Camp in 2003. From there he began writing and performing his original music throughout the West Coast. Since then, he has opened for or toured with such artists as Phil Wickham, Shawn McDonald and Warren Barfield. Logan released his first full-length record Colorless in 2007, which garnered high praise from CCM Magazine, saying, Logan Martin has created a truly enjoyable debut album...one that you don't want to miss!
4Him2Day and 104.1 The Fish are excited to bring Mark back to the Northwest. You won't want to miss this show.
